Raise your hand if you've found yourself making more than one meal a night to please everyone! Whether you're juggling food allergies, preferences or eating styles, most of us have ridden the dinnertime rollercoaster and have desperately tried to get off. As a vegan mama in a non vegan family, my dinner solution and mission behind Batch Cooking Club is to make a plant-centric meal that the whole family can enjoy, whether they are plant-based or not. 

Everyone wins with vegan dinners that offer options for every family member. I can feel good that I'm introducing my family to plant-based meals while also respecting their needs and wants. Instead of making separate meals, I make ONE meal that starts with a plant focused base, and add other options that work for my non vegan family members. Everyone eats the the same meal and everyone's needs are met.


Whether you're exploring plant-based, are plant-based in a non plant-based family like me, or completely plant-based, these 10 vegan family meals are delicious and healthy, while also offering versatility to adapt and add options for everyone.  


French Onion Potato Gnocchi Soup

This soup is a win-win for all. No animal protein required, but if your non vegans are fussy about that, serve it with a half a sandwich (sliced deli protein of their choice).


3-Bean Lentil Chili

This vegan chili is a winner with carnivores, but this recipe can easily be adapted for meat lovers by serving ground beef alongside your other chili bowl toppings.


Sheet Pan Greek Pitas

It's no secret I love a sheet pan meal, and this one is perfect for serving everyone. I make half sheet pans of this recipe - one with tofu and one with chicken so everyone has an option to choose from when stuffing their pita.


Spinach Artichoke Stuffed Shells

 This recipe needs no adjustment. Just serve with regular and plant-based Italian sausages to round out the meal.

Orange-Ginger Tofu Bowls

When it comes to bowl meals, the secret to options for everyone is the prep! Marinate two different proteins ahead of time so you're ready to go when it's time to cook things up. The marinade for these Orange-Ginger bowls tastes delicious on any protein you choose.



Chipotle Corn Chowder

My family loves this soup so much that I don't need to add anything separate for my non-vegan family, but if you need an adaption, I suggest crumbling some chorizo on top or serving it with some chicken and cheese quesadillas.


Lentil Bolognese

They won't believe it's vegan! This Lentil Bolognese Sauce is a winner on anything you serve it with - spaghetti, lasagna, stuffed peppers, you name it. 


Easy Homemade Ramen

Noodles are a winner for everyone. No adaptations are necessary, however if you're looking to round out your menu, my go-to for Asian meals such as this one is to serve it with a side of chicken and vegetable potstickers.


Tempeh Picadillo

This traditional Latin dish gets a non vegan makeover easily with ground beef. Reserve a portion to add to the plant-based picadillo or make two separate batches of the filling to serve in tacos or bowls.


Lemony Tortellini Pesto Soup

This plant-based soup is a family winner. Pasta + soup = comfort food! To add non plant-based protein, crumble up some Italian sausage to stir into the bowls of the non vegan family members when serving.
